Wisdom in Your Inner Courts
God is separating the wheat from the tares.
So much is going on. So many are confused right now.
So, CHOOSE YOUR CLOSE ONES WISELY AND PRAYERFULLY. Your love for them alone is not the key to give access to your heart.
You have to TEST the character of people, TEST THEIR FRUIT. Holy Spirit wisdom will guide you directly to the truth behind deception. Even if it hurts. Because He loves you.
Wisdom is from the Lord and because He is multi-faceted, so is His wisdom. And within wisdom there are 2 overarching virtues that will bless you and guide you into truth about character and who and what to allow in your inner courts. 👑
These 2 things will reveal true motives and character.
1) BOUNDARIES
2) TIME
But the thing is with boundaries & time is that sometimes we don’t want to have to set those boundaries or let time go by because we fear losing that persons acceptance or losing opportunities or some other underlying inner issue. But a strong boundary of what you will and won’t put up with will allow for God to shift you out of what he did not put together.
Setting boundaries ushers in the true testing of people’s fruits. Sometimes immediately, sometimes over a period of time. Setting boundaries, being direct and fruit testing are COMMANDMENTS and a holy thing we are called by God to do.
When it comes to the waiting, many times we work against it by rushing and hopping into opportunities relationships and situations prematurely because we don’t want to make people wait or because we can’t stand waiting ourselves. Waiting is wise. Waiting is part of the process of discernment and a sound decision.
Set boundaries and let time reveal the fruit. True motives and agendas will eventually seep out from behind the mask of flattery, deception & opportunity. But your spiritual eyes need to be set on discernment rather than opportunity or people pleasing or some other selfish desire. Make sure you see right!
When testing fruit, if you find yourself in the company of a person with agenda, it is for the sole purpose of CONTROL. Because of past trauma, we may want to react and run, but we have no reason to fear or run. Face it head on in love with boundaries. They may have an agenda, but we know from Gods word that we should not control people, but we are called to have self-control in all of this. You have control over believing that you carry with you at ALL TIMES the protection and authority of the word of God and what He told you He has given you. You have authority to protect yourself with personal boundaries and wisdom and shine light in dark areas in love. You have authority over every lie and demon that comes your way no matter how many and how close they get to you. You have authority to not be intimidated or shaken by their presence or plans. That’s a boundary itself. Do not be shaken. Protect your inner courts. Not every Jezebel is for you to run from. But to set boundaries with. And with some maybe a complete disconnection led by the Holy Spirit. Jezebel thrives only where there are no boundaries. She may get mad when you set them but you ultimately allow or don’t allow the craft to have its way in your life.
Remember,
The way the enemy will flee is by YOU RESISTING him, his workers, his lies and schemes. You can resist by setting a boundary. 🩷
But you cannot get caught up in the trap of not wanting them to be upset with you. It’s going to happen. Don’t bring on extra warfare that’s not truly a war. Let it be done.
You don’t even need to call on Jesus for this. He is ALREADY with you. He said it in the word.
Truly, No Jezebel or monitoring spirit has power over you when you take authority and use wisdom and true discernment . It’s good to be aware of it and call it what it is always, but better to resist it with the written WORD. That IS your sword. That’s your resistance. The word! You are FILLED with the Word and are equipped to resist EVERY kind of weapon that forms against you.
Another thing is that without truth, resistance and wisdom, all that discernment can become fear mongering and cause division and it robs you of your authority. Too many Christian’s are so aware and discerning but do not know how to resist and be in total peace in the face of their enemies. We are called to FACE our foes! Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Tell that devil to turn the fire up! While you stand firm and SEATED on your God given, royal and heavenly place. Because the 4th man is in you!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Your closest people and advisors should KNOW the Word well, be humble, be servants to one another, loving and after Jesus and have a heart to give real truth and heal the lost and broken with the word of God. Their drive should be to love you, respect you, honor you in public and in private, support you, consider your feelings and always tell you the truth even if it risks offending you because the word says in Proverbs 27:6 “Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.”
And a big one, flattery is not your friend. Be careful with that. Not everyone who flatters you is bad but consider that with all other things that time reveals about them.
Do not be afraid to be DIRECT and ASK QUESTIONS. Ask your already established circle for their insight. Not to gossip, but for accountability and protection. If you are confused or unsure, be direct with the person you’re considering. A friend will be STRAIGHT Up with you and you should always know where you stand with them. Then you will see over time if they are truly here for friendship and honest connection. Ask them About their other friends. Meet them. See how they are with everyone. Listen what they like to bring up in conversation. Pay attention what they ask of you and why. Is it always for personal gain or profit? All those things should be tested. Test everything! God and his wisdom is a respecter of NO MAN!
Read the word, be close with the Lord and surround yourself with wise counsel so that you are fully equipped. You have all authority to do this and to CHOOSE and patiently and prayerfully select who is directly from the Lord and designed to be a gem in your precious inner courts.
Some of us long for sisterhood or a best friend. And lots of times people come with sweetness and opportunity and the devil will exploit that desire that God gave you to eventually get you offended and hurt again so that you don’t trust the ones who God finally sends to you.
Just as many red flags that the Lord will reveal to you, so will He reveal all the green flags. Not perfection, but LOVE, patience, endurance, true friendship, support and healthy conversation. So much more. Not every one is out to get you either. And nobody is perfect. There are true friends waiting for someone like you.
So in all this, be VIGILANT! Wise as a serpent and gentle as a DOVE 🕊️ ✝️👑🩷
PRAYER: Thank you Lord for your divine word and counsel. Thank you that I first have a friend in you. Thank you for your Holy Spirit who guides me into all truth and discernment. I pray that you continue to grow me in understanding and wisdom to make healthy prayerful decisions on who I bring into my life and what I allow and don’t allow. Thank you for your protection and the authority you have given me to set strong boundaries and not fear man or please them but you alone. I rest in your counsel and in your loving arms. I rest in your truth and what you said I have. Prepare my heart to receive the friends and mentors that you have set for me. Bless my relationships and balance my mind against any confusion or doubt in what you reveal to me. Protect my friends and family and our relationships and help us have hearts of love and purity for one another. In Jesus name.
